Medieval Tuscan Castle in Napa Valley – Castello di Amorosa Winery

Save yourself a trip to Italy – visit a Medieval Tuscan Castle in Napa Valley! The 107-room Castello di Amorosa Winery opened in April 2007 – after more than a decade of construction. Spectacular architecture – there’s even an underground Chamber of Horrors.

Guided Castle Tours and Wine-Tastings are offered daily.  Sample high-end Italian-style varietal wines. It’s worth a drive to Napa Valley just to visit this amazing winery and taste its premium wines. Say hi to vintner Daryl Satui (V. Sattui Winery is another of our favorites) if you see him and his dog walking around the castle.

New Sonoma Valley Winery – Opened July 2007

Next time you’re visiting Sonoma, check out the new Jacuzzi Winery (yes…the Jacuzzi Spa  family). Just opened in July 2007, the rustic-Italian stone winery, Neptune’s Fountain, Courtyard and vineyard views are fabulous. Take a self-guided tour (no guided tours available…yet). Wine-tasting is free – at least for now!

The Olive Press shares space in the Jacuzzi winery – enjoy complimentary olive oil tastings, private tours and gourmet gift shopping.
