Whenever I travel across the pond to my home away from home, I can’t wait to eat all of my favorite foods again. And this latest trip was no exception… I literally ate my way through London! By the end of my visit, I was beginning to think that I wouldn’t fit into my seat on the flight back to San Francisco.
Should your travels take you to England one day, here are a few of my favorite restaurants, pubs and foods that I wanted to share with you. Bon Appetit!

1. San Francisco, CA
It’s no secret that San Francisco is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. It’s also a top foodie destination. We may be a teeny bit biased because we live here, but it is really is a very special place. Whisk your honey away on a scenic twilight bay cruise with the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the city skyline as your backdrop. Explore North Beach and its outdoor cafes, a perfect spot for a cappuccino and espresso. Enjoy a romantic Italian dinner, then take your honey to see Beach Blanket Babylon, a hilarious, one-of-a-kind, only-in-San Francisco show featuring song, dance and comedy – it’s so good, we’ve seen it four times! Visit Fisherman’s Wharf and feast on San Francisco’s famous sourdough bread and fresh Dungeness Crab. For a romantic setting overlooking the ocean, head over to the Cliff House for cocktails and dinner as the sun sets over the Pacific. If you have time, take a fun day trip along California’s spectacular coastline and visit Monterey and Carmel – both offer a truly romantic setting for Valentine’s Day.
