The festive Holiday Season is one of the most exciting times to visit New York City – the lights, the crowds, the shopping, the buzz! It’s well worth a trip to New York City just to see the fabulous Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The fun Holiday musical includes our all-time favorite Rockettes’ performance – the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers”. Be sure to book well in advance; it’s very popular with locals and tourists alike. The Christmas Show is running now thru’ December 30, 2009.
What better way to kick-off Thanksgiving than by watching the world-famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – either in person along the parade route or on TV. If you’ve never seen the parade live, it’s worth doing at least once… if you don’t mind large crowds. Make sure you arrive early if you want to get a prime viewing spot along this year’s NEW Parade Route – spectators arrive as early as 6:30am. Wear layers because the weather can be unpredictable during that time of year – remember… it’s winter in New York.
