On a recent visit to Carmel to meet friends visiting from New Zealand, we stopped for lunch at La Bicyclette.   What a charming little restaurant!  The ambiance and service were both excellent and the menu, although not large is quite enticing.  On the day we dined, I opted for the Fisherman’s stew which was excellent.  My companions enjoyed one of their pizza’s (lovely thin crust), a deconstructed burger, and the omelette du jour.   Continue reading

Miami is full of culture and each culture has it’s own traditions, practices, but most importantly food. As a native Miamian, I thought I knew all there was to know about Miami when it came to good restaurants and where to eat what but recently I went to one of the Miami food tours called the South Beach Food Tour to be taught a lesson.
