Menlo Park’s Santa Cruz Avenue comes alive with Menlo Summeriest (formerly Connoisseurs’ Marketplace). The fun annual event features cooking demo’s by local Bay Area chefs, live entertainment, arts & crafts, specialty foods and drinks, and fun kids activities. 10am-6pm.

Capitola Begonia Festival

Celebrate Labor Day Weekend at Capitola’s annual Begonia Festival. Sand Sculpture Contest, Arts, Concert in the Park, Horseshoes on the Sand, Nauticle Parade featuring Begonia-covered barges floating down Soquel Creek to the Lagoon, Fishing Derby, Rowboat Races… and more! Free admission. Shuttle runs from 10am-8pm.
