Sacré-Coeur – Paris

Sacre-Coeur, Paris

Le Basilique du Sacré-Coeur

Sacré-Coeur, the famous white-domed church and a prominent part of the Paris skyline, is one of the city’s most popular landmarks. The interior of the church contains one of the world’s largest mosaics and beautiful stained-glass. Crowds gather here from around the world to see its famous architecture and sit on its steps – a great vantage point for spectacular city views. Allow a few hours here if you have the time. It’s fun to sit outside and people-watch.

The Basilica is open daily. Free admission.

Dome Access and Panoramic Paris Views

Dome access is outside the Basilica on the left-hand side. Once inside the entrance, be prepared to climb the 300 steps to the top of the dome. It’s worth it! On a clear day, you can see for 35 miles from the dome. It’s particularly striking at night, when all of Paris comes alive. Dome is open daily. Admission fee is required. Times are subject to change.
