The Best Time To Visit Orlando and Walt Disney World

December–April is the best time to visit Florida. You can count on beautiful weather and lots of fun activities – it’s also peak travel season, so expect big crowds. Summers can be humid and rainy. Hurricane season typically runs from June-November.

The busiest times of year to visit Walt Disney World are during holiday periods, school breaks, summer vacation, and weekends year-round. The least crowded times are during January and February – and just after school starts, in early September through mid-november. We’ve visited several times: Once during January for a special birthday and it was perfect – no crowds and mild weather (it rained once). The second time we went was during Easter Spring break – very crowded, long lines and hot temps.
