The London Zoo is the world’s oldest scientific zoo. It opened in 1847. Today, it is one of the most famous in the world, and a popular London tourist attraction. Located in Regent’s Park in the heart of London, the zoo is home to over 17,000 animals across over 750 species. See everything from giraffes, elephants, zebras, baby gorillas, lions, meerkats and black-footed penguins, to African hunting dogs, California sea lions, and Komodo dragons.
