Fleet Week San Francisco
October 4-8, 2012
This year, Fleet Week San Francisco runs from October 4-8. San Francisco’s annual Fleet Week event features a Parade of U.S. Navy Ships, Survey Flights and Practice Air Shows, Blue Angels Air Shows, Ship Tours… and more! The official Blue Angels Air Show takes place on Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7.
Expect HUGE crowds this year – even bigger than last year, because Fleet Week SF coincides with the second America’s Cup “AC World Series” Regattas in San Francisco Bay.
See Fleet Week SF 2012 and AC World Series 2012 schedules below:
Best viewing locations to see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels over San Francisco Bay include the Marina Green, Aquatic Park, Pier 39, Muni Pier and San Francisco Waterfront. Rooftop Parties are also a great way to get a bird’s-eye view of everything! Arrive early for best viewing spots. You may want to consider using public transportation, as traffic and parking will be a nightmare.
Special Premium Box Seats (along the waterfront) and VIP seating (on Marina Green) will be available for the Blue Angels Air Show. Private chalets are also available for 2-3 days during Fleet Week events.

America’s Cup World Series Events & Regattas
October 2-7, 2012
The second America’s Cup “AC World Series” Events & Regattas take place October 2-7 in San Francisco Bay, before heading out to Italy in April and May 2013. FYI… the regatta returns to S.F. for the Louis Vuitton Cup (July 4-September 1, 2013). Expect millions of spectators to gather in the “City by the Bay” – and around the world, to watch the America’s Cup Finals (September 7-22, 2013) in San Francisco Bay.
