Bill Graham Rock & Roll Revolution at Contemporary Jewish Museum, SF

“Bill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution” exhibition is a must-see for Baby Boomers and anyone who loves rock music, especially if you lived in the San Francisco Bay Area during this exciting era. The exhibit traces the life of Bill Graham – from his childhood, all the way up to his rise of one of the most influential and successful rock promoters of our generation.

Follow Bill’s narrated audio tour on your smartphone – his stories are priceless! The exhibit features more than 400 pieces, including amazing pictures, photographs, personal letters, memorabilia, iconic psychedelic Fillmore posters, Janis Joplin’s outfit, one of Jerry Garcia’s guitars, concert footage… and more!

See pictures of all the Rock & Roll greats, including  Janis Joplin, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Otis Redding, Santana, Jim Morrison, Big Brother and the Holding Company… the list goes on. Also great pics of the Bay Area’s popular “Day on the Green” concerts.

All in all, a fantastic exhibit!
