AC Spectator Viewing
For the first time in America’s Cup history, spectators can watch the races up close from all along the San Francisco waterfront. Good viewing spots include Crissy Field and the Marina Green, local high-rises and rooftops, Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39, and at America’s Cup Park (Piers 27/29) along the Embarcadero. One of our favorite places to watch the races is out past the Golden Gate Yacht club – bring a chair or grab a seat on one of the rocks. Or take a Bay Cruise aboard a Red & White or Blue & Gold ferry and watch all the action out the bay.
Ticketing bleacher seating is available in front of the America’s Cup Village (at the Marina Green) and at America’s Cup Park (Piers 27/29). Free public bleacher seating is also available near Chrissy Field. Giant viewing screens are featured at these locations – spectators can get an up-close view of the best sailors in the fastest boats as they compete in the world’s most prestigious sailing race. The other advantage of watching the races at either of these locations is that you get minute-by-minute race commentary from a sports commentator so you know exactly what’s happening during each phase of the race. So come and join in the fun and cheer on your favorite team.
