The annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony signals the beginning of the holiday season in New York. Tree Lighting takes place the Wednesday after Thanksgiving at 7pm-9pm. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be a star-studded event (live performances 7pm-9pm) and broadcast live on TV (check local listings). Viewing for the lighted Tree will run until 9pm on January 7, 2017.
