Where did people celebrate St Patricks Day? Here in Cork there was a huge parade as there normal be, but what is fun about being in Ireland this year is that its the Irish Gathering and there seems to be more festivals and events than ever before. In fact for anyone in the Cork area in October, there is an event called Cork Rebel Week taking place, which looks to be as big if not bigger than the St Patricks Day celebrations!

Cork Rebel Week sounds like a great event – we’ll be sure to add it to our October Calendar of Fun Events. And I’ll mention it to my sister who lives in Skibbereen. Thanks for sharing!
