If you're looking for something FUN and inexpensive to do on a Thursday night, check out "Nightlife" at the Academy.

Every Thursday, after the California Academy of Sciences (in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park) closes, the museum features "Nightlife" — a weekly evening event blending cutting-edge science, music, cocktails and food in a unique museum setting.

$10 per person ($8 for Academy members). Tickets available at the door or online.

NOTE: Adults ages 21 and over.

    What a great way to spend an evening! We couldn't believe how many people turned up here Thursday night - 4,000 people! There's something special about exploring this museum at night - add in music and cocktails... and it's a party! FYI... it sells out every Thursday night, so get your tickets early.
